Hanami

One of my favorite things is Hanami, or cherry blossom "viewing".
It's an excuse for the Japanese to get hammered and feel comfortable with
bodily contact. That's why I took a photo of these two men. You might be wondering
why I would take such a boring picture. Actually, at the time I felt as if I were watching a solar eclipse.

I remember the cherry blossoms were just coming out when we visited. I remember Ueno Park looking a little like it had been taken over by Bonus Marchers. I need to visit again, but for now will have to be content living vicariously through you (and, soon, YaYa).

Hi, Mr. B. I love the photos, and can't wait for the cherry blossoms here in DC. Take care rascal.
